Schumacher Homes - Please be very careful when using this company
The gentleman in your Circleville 11272 US-23, Lockbourne, OH is an incompetent project manager. Stay away from this company.
Roof flashing installed backwards so water runs behind it and this is even after they were out to fix it. Wood shims used under the floor joist where they lay on the basement walls...code is for metal shims. We called then after the floor was so weak from water coming through the flashing the entry tile cracked and were told they only came out the first time as a courtesy and would not be out to fix the same issue again. The result of this is water running behind this flashing inside the wall of the house all the way to the basement floor.
The resulting damage is the roof sheathing, stonework on the outside by the front door, all material behind the stone sheet rock framing studs inside the wall ect, The front door has rotted at the base, Tile and sub floor in the entry way needs ripped out and replaced. Great Job guys and thanks for NOT taking any sort of pride in what you do as individuals or as a company.
Reason of review: Bad quality.

Still no resolution or contact from company. One of my customers at my shop is selling his house to downsize.
He made a remark he was going to use Shumacher to build his new home. I gladly informed him of my issues and supplied him with pictures taken from my insurance company showing the improper work and ensuing damage cause from it. The gentleman took his concerns and the photos to Schumacher when he was going to discuss the home he would like to build. He asked them about the issues I had and what they planned to do about it if anything.
They would not even look at the pictures and told him they were aware of it and would not discuss it with him further. Needless to say he has now selected another builder for his new home.
I don't know how much they would have made on a 290k project but I'm glad he chose to take his business elsewhere. I will continue to inform anyone I run across of how Schumacher will treat people as soon as they have their money until i have a remedy for my situation.
Please don't tell me that all you have done about this is e-mails and/or calls.
I don't know what else to do but one thing for sure is I will cost them way more than that 30,000 in lost sales.
